How to Set Up User Access Control

The User Access Control feature allows restaurant owners to grant limited access to the Slurp! Back-Office to specific users, such as business partners, franchisees, or accountants.

Follow the steps below to create roles, configure permissions, and register a new user.

1. Go to Roles & Permissions

Log in to the Slurp! Back-Office, navigate to Access Control, and select Roles & Permissions.

2. Create a Role

Click Create Role to set up a new permission group.

3. Configure Role Permissions

There are two types of permissions available:

• View: Allows users to view information without making changes.
• Manage: Allows users to view, create, edit, and delete information.

For example, you can create a role named Reporting and select View under Reports. Click Save once you have configured the permissions.

You can create additional roles based on your requirements.

4. Go to Users

Navigate to Users to create a new user account.

5. Click Create User

Click Create User to register a new user.

6. Enter User Details

Fill in the required user details and assign the appropriate outlets and roles.

Note: Ensure that the email address entered is valid, as Slurp! will send an activation link to the registered email address.

7. Check the Registered Email

Ask the user to check their inbox for the activation email. If the email is not found, ask them to check their Spam folder.

8. Activate the Account

Open the activation email and click the link provided to confirm the account activation.

9. Create a Password

The user will be prompted to create a new password and enter it again for confirmation. Click Activate to complete the process.

10. Complete the Setup

The user account is now activated and ready to use with the assigned permissions.
