How to Create a Discount with Time Availability in Slurp Cloud

You can set a specific time range for a discount in Slurp Cloud. This allows the discount button to appear in Slurp Central POS only during the configured availability period.

Follow the steps below to create a discount with time availability.

Step 1: Log In to Slurp Cloud

Go to Slurp Cloud and log in to your account.

Step 2: Access the Discounts Page

Navigate to Setup > Discount.

Step 3: Create a New Discount

Click Create Discount at the top-right corner of the page.

Step 4: Enter the Discount Details

a. Enter the Discount Name

Under Name, enter your preferred discount name (e.g., 11.11 Promo).

b. Select the Discount Mode

Choose the appropriate discount mode:

Discount Mode: Deducts a percentage from the amount.

Deduct Mode: Deducts a fixed amount in RM.

c. Enter the Discount Amount

Enter the discount amount according to the selected mode.

For example, enter 11 for either of the following:

• Deduct Mode: RM11 off.
• Discount Mode: 11% off.

d. Set the Discount Availability Time

Under Available From and Available To, enter the time range during which the discount can be used.

For example:

• Available From: 12:00 PM
• Available To: 2:00 PM

Note: The Available To time must be later than the Available From time.

e. Select the Applicable Outlets

Under Applicable Outlet, select the outlet or outlets where the discount should be available.

Leave this field empty if the discount applies to all outlets.

f. Select the Applicable Tags

Under Applicable Tags, select the tags to which the discount should apply.

Leave this field empty if the discount applies to all tags.

Step 5: Save the Discount

Click Save to create the discount.

Step 6: Update Settings in Slurp Central POS

Go to Slurp Central POS and perform an Update Settings to sync the new discount settings.

Step 7: Check the Discount Button Availability

Once the settings have been updated, the discount button will appear on the order page during the configured availability period and disappear outside that period.

Example A: Within the Availability Period

At 1:21 PM, the 11.11 Promo discount button is visible because the time falls within the configured period of 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

Example B: Outside the Availability Period

At 9:24 AM, the 11.11 Promo discount button is not visible because the time falls outside the configured period.
